SAVE US FROM OURSELVES: THE BASICS OF CLEAR ETHICAL THINKING
Half or Full Day

Most people consider themselves ethical. Then how is it that we so often see ethical lapses reported in the news? Why is it that we make such poor decisions? The reality is that most of us are not equipped with good ethical decision-making skills. Often when we reach those critical junctures in life we find ourselves confused and immersed in compromise. Is there a better way? In this workshop, we will discuss the basics of clear ethical thinking and determine for ourselves how to approach and process through an ethical dilemma.

MISUNDERSTANDING IN THE AGE OF COMMUNICATION
2 - 6 Hours

In the age of communication, why are we misunderstanding each other more than ever? Cell phones, e-mail and text were supposed to make our lives better. In this unique, interactive presentation, we learn simple methods to become a better communicator, how to make sure people understand what you want, and how to let people know you understand them. We will put together your own Personal Development Plan to send you out into the world as a better communicator.

RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL NETWORKING

Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn and several other social networking sites are great for building business relationships and staying connected to friends and family. The problems occur when these two meet in ways you never intended. These social networking sites are on your boss's radar and people have already lost their jobs because of their on-line activity. In this presentation, we teach you how to protect yourself, explain what your legal rights are, and what your employer's legal rights are. It's a new age. He has interviewed reporters and producers in cities all over the country, and compiled his own experiences from 15 years in TV and radio, to put together this one-of-a-kind presentation. Take an inside look at a newsroom and learn how build a positive, mutually-beneficial relationship with the reporters who cover your organization.
