Tony Griffin serves at the Zig Ziglar Center for Ethical Leadership as the Mike & Shelia Ingram Executive Director.
Tony’s
broad experience in education provides a solid foundation for this
position. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University (Bachelor of
Science, Accounting, 1991), University of Arkansas-Little Rock (Juris
Doctor, 1994), and Emory University (Master of Divinity, Sims Garrett
Scholar, 2005). Tony's education also includes studies at the
University of Oklahoma (Oklahoma Scholar Leadership Enrichment -
American intellectual history), the University of Central Oklahoma,
Arkansas State University, the University of Mississippi as well as
Downing (law) and Wesley House (theology) Colleges at the University of
Cambridge.
Tony's work experience includes corporate
service and ministry. Tony is a Certified Public Accountant and has
served in the private practice of law. He was a corporate attorney,
chief operating officer, and later managing director and owner of a
group of companies engaged in retail and wholesale petroleum marketing,
quick serve restaurant operations and development, and real estate
management and development. Tony later transitioned from corporate life
to the ministry. He obtained a theological education and became an
ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He served as a pastor in
The United Methodist Church and The Methodist Church of Great Britain.
He has also served on the Venture Capital Division of the Southern
Nazarene University Foundation board.
Tony is married to Tracy (Earnhart) Griffin and is blessed with three wonderful children, Addison, Will and Lainey.
